cSSV Genesis Boost: Your First Step Into the SSV Staking Era
cSSV Genesis Boost is your opening move into SSV Staking, a structural upgrade that begins wiring the SSV token directly into the economics of the validator infrastructure. With the upcoming upgrade, network fees move from SSV to ETH, and users will be able to stake SSV, receive cSSV at a 1:1 ratio and participate in ETH-denominated fee flow generated by real network activity. That is what makes this moment different. It is not just another rewards campaign layered on top of a token. It is the beginning of a new rewards story rooted in validator activity, network usage and ETH-denominated fee flow.
Understanding cSSV Genesis Boost
cSSV Genesis Boost is the first positioning window into the new era of this brand new reward story rooted in validator activity & scaling with network usage.
It is designed to do two things at once.
First, it recognizes the wallets that have believed in the SSV ecosystem before the staking era begins.
Second, it creates a compelling opening for the next wave of users who want to enter before the wider market fully catches up to how SSV is evolving.
Campaign Mechanics
Read Carefully
Genesis is structured around two participant groups:
OG SSV Holders: Wallets recognized through the SSV holder snapshot
New SSV Holders: Wallets entering after the snapshot
If there is one date to remember, it is this: April 22, 2026

That is when the SSV holder snapshot happens and it is the date that determines OG SSV Holder recognition for cSSV Genesis Boost. Wallets holding SSV token by that date will be recognized as OG Holders during the Genesis Boost.

Here’s how the rewards work:
OG Holders
Total SSV Staked | Reward Boost % |
|---|---|
0 – 5000 SSV | 50% |
5001 – 12000 SSV | 30% |
12001 – 20000 SSV | 20% |
20000+ SSV | 0% |
New Holders
Total SSV Staked | Reward Boost % |
|---|---|
0 – 5000 SSV | 25% |
5001 – 12000 SSV | 15% |
12001 – 20000 SSV | 10% |
20000+ SSV | 0% |
Users can soon check their boost eligibility on the https://ssv.network/cssv/genesis page.
The Boost Period is limited and ends in 30 days from the day the campaign goes live.
The Genesis Reward Pool is capped at $75,000 paid out in SSV tokens. The Boost Period ends 30 days after go-live or once the pool is exhausted, whichever comes first. The boosted rewards are granted only to users who stake during the Boost Period.
To remain eligible for boosted Genesis rewards, users are required to keep the qualifying position staked for 90 days (lock-in period) after the Boost Period ends. Any unstake request during this period will make the wallet ineligible for boosted rewards.
Users may continue to claim their ETH rewards or stake more SSV without making the wallet ineligible for the cSSV Genesis Boost rewards. However, the final reward boost applied to the wallet will still depend on the wallet’s total qualifying stake and the applicable staking band.
To avoid any eligibility issues, users should not transfer cSSV to a different wallet before the campaign ends.
Here’s a quick TL;DR:
[Optional] Hold SSV tokens in your wallet by April 22, 2026 for OG status at snapshot
Stake a minimum of 50 SSV on mainnet during the Boost Period using the official SSV Staking dApp
Keep the qualifying position staked through the required 90-day lock period after the Boost Period ends
Do not unstake during that period
Do not transfer cSSV to a different wallet before the rewards are paid out.
Full T&Cs will be available on the Genesis page.
Quick primer on cSSV
At the center of all this is cSSV.
Stake SSV, receive cSSV, and hold a liquid position tied to the economics of SSV’s validator infrastructure. cSSV is a liquid, non-rebasing ERC-20 representation of staked SSV plus a claim on ETH fee flow, specifically designed to make the staking position portable and composable.
The reason to pay attention is not just the boost. The boost is the opening incentive layered on top of a very compelling model. The real story is that SSV Staking begins connecting broader participation to real network usage.
As SSV’s validator infrastructure grows, as more activity moves through ETH-fee clusters, and as that fee flow begins routing through the staking layer, the quality of the rewards story changes with it. The economics become increasingly tied to the network.

The shift is more direct:
Validator activity → ETH-denominated fee flow → SSV Staking → cSSV holders
That is the economic path Genesis is opening into.
